RADA
trained Edward Tudor Pole briefly joined the Sex Pistols
as a replacement for Johnny Rotten before fronting his own band
Ed TenPole Tudor, with whom he had hits with 'Who killed Bambi?',
'3 Bells in a Row', 'Swords of 1000 Men', 'Wunderbar' and 'Throwing
my baby out with the Bath Water'. Probably best known for his appearances
in 'The Crystal Maze' and on Top of The Pops. Ageing punks and
new fans attracted by his TV and film roles are treated to a mix
of punk, country and pure rock'n'roll. Each of his catchy tunes
pays tribute to a variety of stars. Standard punk anthems stand
side by side with influences as diverse as Status Quo, Freddie Mercury,
Tammy Wynette and Shakin' Stevens.
Some people were just born to be stars. There just seems to be something
about them - the way they talk, the way they carry themselves, the
way their battered lives intigue us. Ed is mad, but deinitely not
sad. |

The Big Fibbers mad cap songs will be heard nightly in all the pubs. A dangerously different duo from a dark kettle of fish. They write songs about booze, aliens, fish and more booze. - From the sublime to the ridiculous they fall somewhere between humour and despair with bits of mayhem and beauty thrown in for good measure. They don't deal in clichés. They are........
THE BIG FIBBERS. |

Also playing throughout the weekend will be the brilliant ESINTI .Esinti’s style is based on the gypsy jazz and latin tradition made popular by guitarist Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France. Their extensive repertoire features many well loved standards and some sweet surprises. |
Loony Party member and former MP Darren Poyzer is coming down from the Cheshire borders to do 2 sets on Saturday afternoon and evening…. a funny and very accomplished one man show that sells out all over the country.
He was, as most of the weekend performers, a good friend of Screaming Lord Sutch.
Lunacy on Saturday in The Stonecroft as well as roots and folk singer Davy Cartwright from Porthcawl.
Dangerous Dave band play Satuday night at the Neuadd, and Satuday will also see former Eyes of Blue and Wild Turkey singer and Welsh blues legend Gary Pickford playing in the festival.
Don't be an idiot and miss it - Be a Loony and be there!

The Animals were one of the most important bands
originating from England during the '60s. The group were widely
considered the raunchiest, the dirtiest, the spottiest, the most
authentic and uncompromisingly raw band of their time.

Eric Faulkner
Love them or loathe them, The Rollers were the teenage phenomenon of the 1970s.
In a self assured, witty and composed style he recalls his days of pop bedlam as a Bay City Roller and magazine pin up,….to the greatest Rock n Roll swindle of all time.
2007 will see his debut British tour as an acoustic troubadour, playing some of his favourite and inspirational songs from Tom Petty to Pink Floyd and Woody Guthrie as well as plenty of original Roller hits, including Give a Little Love, Bye Bye Baby, Saturday Night & Shang A Lang.

Martin
Furey
writes oddly haunting songs already showcased in some style with Bohinta,
the band he still fronts with his sister Aine, but here he takes a
further step into the ethereal. There's something about his anguished
voice, the percussive edge and spookily sparse arrangements that gets
under your skin.
